A Doctor of Medicine with extensive experience in biomedical research and bioinformatics, the Era7 co-founder had previously worked as Head of Department at the University Hospital Virgen de las Nieves in Granada where he carried out his activity in the fields of transplant and tumor immunology. Afterwards he introduced molecular biology technologies in the hospital and went on to develop a Unit of Theoretical Biology. In recent years he has been responsible for developing and implementing a Web portal and Intranet at this hospital. Since 2005, he has worked full time as Era7 CEO.
